Tea is the most popular beverage next to water, with lots of added health benefits. At Orling & Wu, we carry Kusmi Tea, a Paris originated tea company with over 150 years of tea making experience.
Below are our favourite Kusmi Teas and why we love them:
Kusmi's Jasmine Green Tea is our all time favourite. This is a green tea from China flavoured with the calm scent of jasmine blossoms. The key to make the perfect seep is to not damage the tea leaves by steeping in 80 Celsius degrees warm water.
Why we love it: Green tea is rich in nutrients. It contains antioxidants that helps with digestion and many other health benefits like lowering cholesterol levels and improving blood flow. The added calming scent of jasmine makes it a relaxing tea to drink.
This black fruit blend is a historic tea created in 1880, Kusmi's oldest tea. Bouquet of Flowers was created in honor of the birth of his eldest daughter. It has a combination of Earl Grey, citrus and flowers, with medium caffeine levels.
Why we love it: Not only because it is Kusmi's oldest recipe, it takes a traditional favourite, Earl Grey, with a unique twist. With the bergamot and citrus flavours, we love it as an invigorating afternoon tea. Fun fact: Tsar Nicolas II drank this tea regularly up to the Russian Revolution.
This tea is the classic symbol of Russian daily life. It's a masculine blend of black teas that is slightly smoked.
Why we love it: Samovar is a favourite because of its unique musky scent, that makes it different from other types of tea. It pairs very well with savoury or spicy dishes.
Everyone needs a detox once in a while. This tea is a blend of
maté, green tea and lemongrass. It is a delicious beverage to be enjoyed throughout the day at the same time cleaning your internal body.
Why we love it: The lemongrass in the tea makes it a refreshing beverage to have. However, this is actually one of our favourite winter beverages as you can make it into a latte and add a drizzle of honey.
Available in 25 g and 125 g metal tins.
